How old were you when you KNEW you were ready for a baby?

I'm 23, married for over 2 years, have a house, my husband and I both have good jobs, good income, good savings, and a baby is all I can think about (but the hubby is hesitant still). When did your baby fever become undeniable? Comment and tell me your stories so I don't feel all alone while I wait for my husband to catch the fever!

I'm 30, going to be 31 soon and I'm still not 100% sure. I've only been more open and accepting to the idea since mid last year. That's why I'm not super duper sad it hasn't happened yet.

I was sure I wanted a baby at like 22/23. I was with a long term boyfriend and we had our future mapped out. Then s few months later my baby fever went away and I’m glad I didn’t. Our relationship didn’t end up lasting. I’m now 28 and have been married three years and we are just now trying. We’ve done a ton of cool things just as a couple. Bought some awesome toys, started a business, built our dream home etc. I don’t think we could have done any of that if we had a child early in our 20s. But if you’re ready you’re ready! Something that helps a lot for me is volunteering for the spca. We foster kittens in our home. Tiny tiny like eyes not even open yet. They take a lot of care and love and time for the 8/10 weeks you have them! And it’s so rewarding.

as soon as I got married at age 26, I was ready! I did have a false positive and thought I was really pregnant and lots of crap goes through your head like "am I even ready for this!?!?!" but we keep trying because I think we are. plus, I don't think anyone is ever officially "ready" so we will take life how it comes! I'm going to be 28 in 2 months and hubby is 31.
