Gestational Diabetes... Signs?

Question

Anyone have gestational diabetes before? I'm 23 weeks and will be having the "Kool Aid" at the next appointment at 27 weeks. 
I've read online about it. My doctor said I'm prone to it due to my PCOS and Thyroid problems. I'm not over weight and been eating better since pregnant. I was partially tested in early pregnancy by my Endocrinologist, but was fine. 
I'm just wondering if anyone had early signs.  What I read online said most don't. But the symptoms they do list are also typical pregnancy symptoms. 
Just want to hear it from those who have been there.

There aren't a lot of signs unfortunately, it's just how your body handles glucose with the new pregnancy hormones. Good luck!! 💕💕💕💕

It has nothing to do with weight - my friend had it and she is 54kg and exercised everyday - i started at 68 and didn’t exercise besides from walking at Work. It’s how your body processes sugar nothing to do with how big or little you are.

There aren’t any signs and there’s nothing you did or can do to change it. It’s how your body produces insulin. It’s not anything you control. I had no risk factors and still got diagnosed. If you do have it, it’s an adjustment but it’s not as bad as it seems at first. I promise.

I had no signs. My ob tests my urine for protein and sugar at every appointment and it always came back negative until after my glucose screening and now I have the GD.

No signs. I’m young, slim, no family history or any other risk factors. I didn’t have any symptoms, and wasn’t expecting the call to tell me I had GD at all, but here we are. It sucks but at least it goes away once baby is born.
