REALLY WORRIED,hiding hickey

So I just came out as bi and I started liking a certain girl, we talk for ages and I swear I’m in love with her. We both went to my friends house the other day and because it was the three of us the other friend was kinda third wheeling. But anyways we started talking about hickeys and she was looking at me smiling, I was sitting on a rocking chair and she comes to my side and literally attacks my neck. It felt amazing, after a while I gave her two on each sides of her neck. Because my skin tone is kind of dark I didn’t think it could be seen as much but I was wrong. Now there’s a big ass hickey on my neck and I have an event to go to, with family, now I’m panicking. I have tried everything.
