Getting pregnant again and twins?????

So I’m not pregnant yet I had a c-section on the 20th of November 2017 and my daughter sadly passes away, we want to start trying again as soon as possible from what we have been able to find it says after six months you can get pregnant again which would mean me getting pregnant after may, my other worry is what if I have twins it runs in my partners family and also in my family so there is a chance that I could and if that was the case would I need to wait longer before I get pregnant could twins pose more risk or my uterus rupturing?? The doctors told me nothing while I was in hospital no one went over anything with me and I was too focused on my daughter being in the nicu to ask any questions
