Really green mucusy stool- wth??

EBF baby - she had mucusy / greenish poop before but this is actually scary. I removed all milk products from my diet since a month ago but it doesn't seem to help. Did it happen to anybody else?

This was brought up in a La Leche League meeting and it was attributed to getting too much foremilk and not enough hindmilk.

I remember someone saying that green poop means they are either getting more of the hindmilk or the foremilk. I’ve noticed it with my baby too. Never seemed to be something that happened on a daily basis though

We had it. Pediatrician said likely a virus, no worries. It did go away.

I had these with my daughter allllll the time - she was EBF until 17 months. I visited my paed and he said babies have nappies “all the colour s of the rainbow!” Except they shouldn’t be black, white or have blood in them. They stopped being like this once she ate solids regularly.

My little Miss had that twice when she was about 12 weeks old she wasn't poorly I hadn't changed my diet and she is ebf I was told if I'm fighting off a bug even though she hasn't got it or showing symptoms she could of fought it off and basically pooed out the rubbish germs xx

yes my baby had it once with fever turn out to be an infection, iff your baby have fever call your ped please
