Slapping??? (Posting in two groups)

Okay. Olive is a week away from one year old and she has started SLAPPING MY FACE when she’s upset 😲????

I imagine it will be tough to discipline her with being so young. I’ve been very firm in saying “No,” and putting her in as much as a time out l as I can. She doesn’t live in an aggressive household, she doesn’t get hit ever, and she doesn’t care about the TV to where she could’ve seen it there. I’m not sure where it came from??

She usually comes up to me after and kisses and tries to snuggle me which is pretty adorable and I’m thinking maybe her way of saying “I’m sorry.”

What are some tips and tricks to help this not be a continued behaivor?
