I’m 22 weeks along. My wonderful sister is planning on throwing me a shower in early March so I’ll be 30 or 31/32 weeks. Do my husband and I need to be buying things before the shower? We do already have a crib, a crib mattress, a rocker, a dresser, and some clothes. I’m most worried about the car seat and a stroller.

Also, I’m looking at an in home daycare that has been highly recommended by several friends. It’s $145 a week as opposed to the daycare which is $279 a week. We will interview with the in home on the 22nd... but should I put a $75 deposit down to hold our place at the daycare just in case we don’t like the in home...? I’m worried with the in home due to if the owner is sick we are out of luck and will be scrambling for a sitter/have to take off work. But if we love it and love the owner, the price is so so nice and affordable.
