Greater Boston daycare?

Question

I’m beginning to think about daycare versus nanny. Can you ladies provide info on daycare centers you use, what the drop off/pickup outside times are and monthly cost (1 child full time). If you nanny, how did you find one and what is the cost? I’m a couple towns west of Boston, but generally am interested in any info/advice that could be provided in greater Boston care. None of my friends work the sort of jobs/hours that my husband and I work so I have no source of advice. Thank you!

My sister lives in concord,  has four kids and has the most amazing nanny in the planet. She found her on sittercity. She had two others, while they were nice and great, she found one that she literally loves so much. She doesnt live with them but is flexible and does everything around the house as well, I swear she is magic. Childcare, cooking and cleaning! She is super expensive though. Probably around 50k for the year, but for 4 kids  that’s like 1000$ a kid for the month. 
She lives where a lot of the moms also do “nanny shares” where they literally have the same nanny just differntdays of the week.

Each center is a bit different but most centers are open 8-5:30 Or 6. There are some centers that will open a bit earlier or remain open a bit later. 
 Infant care at a center can run you about 2000 a month and up depending on the type of center. Most family centers are cheaper than larger centers. I am not a fan of chains (bright horizons, kindercare, etc). There are centers that have a lot of parent involvement (parent cooperatives) and ones where you drop your kid off and that’s it. It depends on the style you prefer. 
I don’t know enough about nanny’s cost  but they tend to be more flexible in nature then centers and there are also nanny shares. That’s when you share a nanny with another family and this helps with cost and also offers your child interaction with another child.
