Are you getting dolled up for labor?

Just curious. I had hair and make up on punt for babies 1 and 2. Not a whole lot, but just enough. For baby 3, I looked a mess. I hated that people posted picks of me looking so bad, and I didn't feel great. I will be getting my hair done and putting on a little something before heading to the hospital this time. What about you?

I don't usually wear makeup or out much time into my hair, so definitely not for labor. I'll probably take a shower while laboring at home if I feel up to it.

I think ppl are interpreting dolled up as getting wedding ready. It's not that serious 😊 if it happens in the middle of the night, I'm washing, moisturizing,  bb cream, liner, n mascara. My hair is already done for d day, so not worried about that!

Depends on what time it is. With my first my water broke in the middle of the night, so I was a hot mess! This one I'm scheduled for a section, but if I do wear makeup for it, it'll just be my regular makeup which is just BB cream & nothing heavy

I think getting dolled up for labor is ludicrous, and so does my husband- i showed him this post and he laughed.

...but I do plan on taking a shower (if time permits!!  With last two would have had plenty of time but was just young and anxious).

The only thing I plan on doing is putting my hair up! And it will probably still look like poop but that's okay because I could care less about how I look to everyone else, my husband said I could be the sweatiest most tired looking mess and he would still think I'm beautiful so I'm not worried about it lol.

I will try to if the pain allows to at least do something with my hair so it's not all over the place but the make up I will do after the birth before visitors come in.. I wish someone would put up a picture of me right after giving birth I would show them just how ugly I could really look! 😒😤👹😂

If I have time to shower and do my hair and make up then yes definitely! If not I'll wash my face and do my make up, throw my hair up in a pony. I don't want to look a mess in the pictures! Esp because I know they're gonna be all over fb!
