Clomid

I have an appointment tomorrow with my OBGYN and we’re going to be discussing Clomid. We’ve been actively TTC since July. Is that long enough to be prescribed? I’m afraid he’ll say no and have us keep trying. I take opks starting CD8-CD22 and I get a + around CD19 with a whole lot of pain which makes me assume cyst. I have a history of ovarian cyst since I started my period at 13.... could that be preventing us from getting pregnant? Just looking for some advice from anyone whose been through this. TIA
