Period/spotting/HELP!!

So I was on sprintec for 3 years. Originally put on this to combat/help with pcos. I stopped taking it on thanksgiving, as me and my husband have decided to ttc. Since then I had a period 11/26/17-12/2/2017. Then began spotting on 12/13-12/18 stopped for two days then full period 12/20/2017-12/29/2017 stopped for three days, then spotting again for two days. And now today 1/8 full blown period again. I guess my question is, is this something normal from stopping the birth control, and if so how much longer is this going to go on? Can't exactly BD like we would like too with all this going on. Thanks ahead of time for any answers!!
