How long should I wait to take a test?

AF is currently 4 days late. Don't feel any symptoms of AF or pregnancy so I'm not sure when or if I should test and how long to wait. Any ideas would be much appreciated

Won't be taking a test again. Just went to the bathroom and when I wiped there was like 5 spots literally of light pink blood.... no idea what this is or why it's happening if it's not my AF? I usually get it full on not just very minimal light spotting. So confused, heartbroken, frustrated, and crushed.
