Friends toddler being violent
Okay so I only have my 6 month old, but I have brought him over to see my friend and her 2 in a half month old a few times. Recently I haven’t wanted to go over because her son keeps trying to seriously hurt the baby. He likes to try to hit him, throw books and toys at him while he’s in his chair, and even rips toys out of his hands and yells MINE (when they are baby’s toys). I understand he’s a toddler, but my other friends toddlers do not act like this, and if they’re doing something they understand they shouldn’t be doing, they will be disciplined. I’m just wondering if he should be being corrected for this in a different way than my friend just yelling no at her kid? I don’t have a toddler and this is why I’m asking, because I’m not at this stage with my son yet so I don’t know what it’s like or if it’s normal, or what should be done. I love my friend and do not want to Mom shame her, or even assume she should be doing otherwise if this is normal behavior. I will never tell someone how to parent, but I would like some opinions or advice please.
Thank you!
