Anyone live in east  Bay Area ? Good price on apartments?

Affordable in the east Bay really doesn't exist the prices for housing are skyrocketing. The Valley (stockton area) is the cheapest.

It’s going to be tough!! It really depends what you consider affordable. Maybe try Pittsburg or Antioch.

Went from alameda to Daly City. Nothing is cheap. Married with. 2 bedroom for $2700 and we’ve been here for 4 years

I live in SF near UCSF. 1BR 1BA for $2275/month which is now considered cheap. I’ll be moving out this summer and landlord is planning to raise the rent to $2600!

I ended up moving out to Pittsburg because I couldn't find anything else affordable. Now I'm back in my hometown in Florida and so glad I left the Bay.. It's crazy there good luck.

Unfortunately, cheap doesn’t really exist in the east bay anymore. 
Lucked out on a 2 bedroom 1 bath for 1905 in Newark. 
Usually the cheaper areas are not the safest  though 🤷🏼‍♀️

I was in SF until January and had to move out of the city for health reasons. Moved to Dublin because I just couldn’t afford Fremont. Tracy is too far from my family (all inPalo Alto and Cupertino). Try Antioch or Concord.

This is crazy! I live up in northern ca and I'm buying my home on 3 acres for $1673 a month and that's with insurance.
