Today I finally had my very first ultrasound to check on our little jelly bean! We saw the heartbeat and everything looks normal! Our baby even did a little dance for us ❤️

My partner held my hand the entire time and I held back tears because I didn't want my mom to see me cry. My mom and I have had a strained relationship since I told her about my pregnancy, but I'm hoping she'll come around.

We may not have planned this, but seeing our baby has made me so happy! My partner is still quite scared to become a dad, but he told me after the ultrasound, he's starting to get excited.

I can't wait to meet my little peanut in August 👶🏼💕
