Did I overreact?

I was playing Diablo 3 with my fiance and his friend when I went upstairs to talk to him mom. About 30 mins or so I come back down and my fiance and his friend had cheated the game to the point where their paragon levels were in the thousands and I went off about how the game for me would really suck cause I wouldn't be about to play the game naturally and have fun with the game like I love to do. After stating my point I'm the bad guy in the situation because "I didn't have to go off like that" am I wrong for standing up for the right of having fun on Diablo 3 or am I overreacting?
