Is it weird that my boyfriend is my best friend?

We’ve been dating for almost 3 years now, and it’s not to say  that I don’t have other friends, but I feel like my boyfriend is my best friend. I’ve had other best friends before, but they all kind of faded out or the friendship stopped because of something ugly. I’m sure I’m supposed to be best friends with my boyfriend, but is it unhealthy that he’s basically my only best friend? 
Edit: I have other friends, it’s just more like class friends in uni or like friends I don’t see all the time but still close with and keep in touch with. I’m just scared it’s unhealthy bc I wouldn’t want to be too dependant on him because he’s my best friend

You need other friends, too! Cuz if y’all ever break up, you will find yourself lonely. Nothing wrong with being his best friend but also have other hobbies besides him

No that happens all of the time. I personally can’t. I’ve been Bestfriend’s with the same girl for almost 20 years and the same guy for 9. So I can’t see our friendships fading and sometimes I just need to hang out with someone other than my spouse

My SO is my best friend as well. We live together, so it makes sense that we do everything together too, but I still go out with my friends and he does his own thing for a bit. But it’s nice to be able to switch between being a couple and then being best friends. I think it’s a good system to have.

My husband is my best friend. I have a best friend who is my girl cousin also, but I tell my husband everything. We share everything and we spend a lot of time together. Being best friends with your spouse makes a marriage easier :)

Yes you definitely need some girl friend(s) ! I’ve been there and I loved it but I realized I started revolving my world around him and that’s not so healthy .
