My husband and I are at a bit of an impasse and I wanted to get other parents opinions on how they share free time.

My husband works between 12-16hr day and I am a stay at home mom. We are on a tight budget with only a little extra.

I feel like on the weekends both parents should split a little bit of time so the other gets time to them self and then do family time together for the rest of the time. Just like you would the evenings during the weekdays.

My husband feels like if I need a break I should take it during the weekdays and pay for hourly care or drop our child off at the neighbors for a few hours. Then he gets time to himself and family time on the weekends
