My 3 month old has always had awful acid reflux and gas. I tried everything they recommend but nothing worked. When he was around 2-4 weeks he was put on zantac, they eventually increased the dose to 3 times a day and then eventually was put on prescription gas drops (hyosyne) and prilosec once a day instead (he takes 2.5ml prilosec at 8am and .8ml zantac at 12pm and around 8pm, and gas drops every 6 hours)

Now this seemed like A LOT to me for a baby but he truly was a new baby with the combination of all 3 medications. He was finally not in pain anymore. He is 15 weeks old and the past two days he has had the worse acid reflux. He is constantly gagging and sticking out his tongue and throws up his whole bottle or breast milk. He has been crying non stop and just grunts and whines until he falls asleep. I’m not sure if maybe he needs a higher dosage due to his weight or what. His last doc appt was Dec. 4th and he was almost 14lbs, I don’t go back until Feb but he has grown a ton. He is a big baby.... Any thoughts???
