Has anyone here ever had a cerclage? I lost my twins at 19 weeks due to incompetent cervix and the tried to save my son with the cerclage. He ended up passing away inside of me, they said I had an infection. I am pregnant now (hopefully, 3 positive tests appt set for 2/4) I will have to have a cerclage placed at 13 weeks. My doctor said it is very effective and I shouldn’t have any issues, but I read up about infections after the cerclage is placed. Even though I had an infection, the hospital couldn’t tell me if it was from the cerclage, from my cervix opening, or from something. So I’m just scared of everything and terrified for the new baby. Has anyone had one and had success with it?
