On UTI antibiotic AND taking BC Pill. Less effective?

Hey everyone. I just started my BC today it's Mono-Linyah and I also was prescribed an antibiotic for a UTI. Does this make my BC less effective?

Answer

Yes it does, I know 3 people who got pregnant while taking an antibiotic while on birth control. It won’t be effective until you are finished with the antibiotic so be careful.
