Travel Tips?

Question

I’m going to be traveling (via airplane) to Florida with our going-to-be-8-month-old in early March. Any tips for the flight or the Florida weather?

we just flew with our baby girl when she was 5months! here's a few tips! 
-when you pick your seats while checking in pick the window seat for you, then the isle seat for whoever your travelling with - if the plane isn't completely full then you'll have the extra "free" seat in between you for extra space. 
-most airlines let you "sky check" car seats, bassinets, strollers or anything baby related, for free! we sky checked our bassinet and carseat (which is handy instead of renting carseats if you need a vehicle while your there) check with your airline prior though since you may be only allowed 2 items.
- breast or bottle feed during take off and landing (helps for they're ears) 
-red eye flights are brutal, but it's actually easier for baby since ours slept the whole time
- pre download movies or videos to your phone, my baby loves these videos so I downloaded a bunch for when she started getting cranky and restless
-if your breastfeeding, buy water bottles before your on the plane, they only give you a tiny cup of water (I personally get super thirsty while feeding)
that's pretty much it! good luck, and remember to be relaxed + calm while traveling, babies take they're emotional cues from us! so when we're calm, they are too 👍

- also, wear your baby in a carrier when walking through the airport, it's easier to "contain" your baby while running to your gate, and they let me keep wearing her going through the security 👍 the flight attendants just make you take them out when your taking off (for safety reasons) which is fine unless your baby falls asleep like mine did 😭
