Hi guys! So I’m trying to decide if I want the kyleena (progesterone only) iud or the paraguard (copper) iud. I had my doctor order kyleena because it comes with the potential of making periods lighter and shorter and eventually helping with cramps. However, I like the idea of paraguard bc there are no hormones. I took the pill and got blood clots from it when I was 18 so hormones make me nervous, but my doctor said it was just the estrogen that would be an issue. Can you share your experiences with either iud? Thanks (:
