I have been on birth control for about 9 years. The reason I started was because I used to have to skip school for at least 1-3 days because every time I got my period I would get cramps to the point I couldn't move, I used to black out and I used to throw up..a lot. My doctor suggested the pill (I was in middle school) and it worked all throughout high school with no issues. I'm now almost done with college and I'm starting to feel nauseated about 1-2 weeks before my period is supposed to start. I'm also getting headaches and pretty bad cramps now compared to high school, but not as consistent as before I started the pill. Could this be because I keep getting different brands of bc every few months? Has anyone else experienced this? Can one be on the pill too long and this is the repercussion for being in the pill almost a decade?
