Do ovulation predictor tests work with pcos??

I have been taking the tests to see if I ovulate..my results are the same every time..a dark line but not as dark as control line. It’s been like this over a week. I have heard the test is affected by pcos. Is it the same for anyone else??

The reason that they “do not work” for PCOS is because women with PCOS may have an LH surge but not actually ovulate. You can track BBT along with OPKs to confirm ovulation. If you have an elevated temp for 3 or more days 24-48 hours after a peak OPK then you’ve ovulated. I also recommend getting the advanced digital OPKs as they are much easier to read and look for several other factors as well as LH.

For some it does, but for the ones who have irregular periods they do not.

Yes it works. I have pcos. I took clomid and opk and got a bfp in 3 months. I also took my temp.

I was told they would give all positive for someone with PCOS, but I was diagnosed at like 11 (18years ago)
I recently started OPKS and only had two positive out of 20 in a cycle.
 So who knows.

Theses are mine... I have been off birth control for about a month was taking it to regulate my cycle for the past 3years or so. Since I wasn’t sure when I would get a period next I decided to start monitoring to see if I ovulate and these are my results... not sure if they are accurate because according to the last 3 days I’m ovulating. I figured I would finish the opk and see the results. 
Order is top to bottom as in the bottom one I took today

They do not work for me. It will show I’m ovulating but blood work shows I’m not ovulating at all.
