Would you forgive your significant other? (Read description)

Assume you and your significant other have been dating nearly a year. If your significant other was at work, and their ex came in (complete coincidence) and your significant other had to help him/her out but never told you about it. Assume your significant other told their friends about the encounter and was shocked at seeing him/her. Let's say you found out the next day and it completely betrayed your trust that they never told you. 
Would you be able to forgive eventually?

Why would you get so upset over that? It's not like he specifically sought out to bump into her. You said yourself it was a coincident and he had to help. Must he not do his job? It's his ex and it was work.

My husband and I have only been married a year, and we've made it a point to tell each other everything. especially the uncomfortable stuff or the things that may make the other upset. this method may not be for everyone, but it helps us build strong trust with each other and helps us to realistically predict how the other would feel and react if something out of the ordinary happens. personally, if that happened to him, I'd want him to just say what happened so I didn't hear from somewhere else. and if it happened to me, I'd tell him so that it wouldn't email strange.

Your SO may have their reasons for not telling you... Maybe they didn’t want to upset you for no reason. It’s hard to say, but sounds pretty innocent... I wouldn’t hold it against them and just let them know that if this were to occur again in the future, you’d feel more comfortable if they told you... Pick and choose your battles.
