Traveling in high altitudes during pregnancy ?

We planned a trip before I was pregnant to go to the mountains, elevation is about 7,800 where we are going... we live by the beach so I’m used to being at sea level. I’m only 7 weeks pregnant. Is there any concerns I should have about being in higher altitude or any precautions I should take? Thank you.

Drink water all. day. long. Altitude sickness can strike anyone, but definitely important if you're pregnant to stay really hydrated. Other than that, it should be fine!

I agree with Melissa above, but just be mindful of altitude sickness as well as morning sickness. Have fun!

I just traveled to higher elevation and I was 25 weeks and it was fine! I got swollen sometimes but that was it. Just drink a lot of water, don't put extra salt on your food. I do suggest sea band bracelets though because 7 weeks is when my morning sickness started, so I'd be more worried about being prepared for that.
