Hoped that baby would come on his/her due date to share birthdays with grandpa, but apparently not! I’m guessing now that he/she wanted a day of their own, bc I’m definitely in labor as I type this.

Contractions aren’t consistent, but I was told yesterday that I’m dilated 3/4cm. Now I’m sitting in this waiting chair trying not to attract attention as I can barely sit still! They started at 11:30 this morning. My plan is to see baby for our scheduled ultrasound at 3pm, then head downstairs to OBGYN for my appointment to be monitored. Hoping the dr will tell me I’m dilated enough to head on over and be admitted to the hospital!!!
