In Australia, there's a morning news show I watch called Sunrise, and every Friday they do a "feel good Friday" segment that contains good news and viral videos like those of soldiers coming home and surprising their kids.

An evening news programme, The Project, does a similar segment but I forget which day of the week it is.

My brother, however, always complains about these segments saying that the news is meant to be full of "important things that people need to know, like current events". He says good news doesn't belong on the news.
