What’s the point of blocking/muting people on a debate forum. Isn’t the idea to have discussions with people that you disagree with? Or am I debating wrong? If you want to collect a bunch of people you agree with and only talk to them, Facebook is a great option. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ve never felt the need, but I can see it being a good option for those who want it or who feel harassed or unsafe.

Can’t really stand behind a block option🤷🏻‍♂️. I’m not as bothered by harassment as some may be though (this does not invalidate how those who feel unsafe are feeling). To me it just...defeats the purpose? Mute seems okay. 
Itsjust...if you want to scream your stuff into a void with no opposition just make a tumblr and put it on private. Literally the same thin just not on a debate forum.
