Anyone experience hyperemesis gravidarum?

I'm almost 12 weeks on Thursday and I've had "morning sickness" since I was 5 weeks and I've lost 7lbs and can't hardly keep food down or water at all. I don't urinate a lot hardly at all anymore. And I puke bio almost every day. I've been to the er twice to get fluid now. How could I ask my Obgyn about this? She's never even brought this up.

You are your best advocate you and your baby. Call your OB today and say exactly what you wrote in this post, and insist on an appointment. Your OB may think "no news is good news" and assume you're fine if you don't mention these symptoms.

I know the feeling. I was there! I'm almost 15 weeks and it's still there. It seems to be eating off so Thank God for that. But I used to cry so much because I was so sick. Could hardly move without getting sick. If I ate I vomited, if I drank I vomited, if I didn't do either I dry heaved. It was nearly every half hour for over two months. I was so miserable. Hopefully for you it will start easing up soon! This will be my only pregnancy and I was so bummed I wasn't getting to enjoy the idea of being a mother.

HG is becoming better recognised.  In severe cases it poses a risk to mother and baby. 
Check out The Leaky B@@b. She has had HG throughout all 6 pregnancies. Then go talk to your doctor about a plan of care. You may just need the right combination of anti sickness meds.

I've been suffering with this as Well. All I did was express to my doctor that I couldn't keep any food or fluid down and he tried different things to help me feel better. He never brought it you before either, but I wasn't afraid to ask. I'm sure if you just explain to her your concerns she will do her best to help. Nothing else worked for me. I was constantly sick for nine weeks and lost 14 pounds. We finally found something that works and I have Bern feeling okay for a week.

I went to the ER a week ago because I couldn't keep down anything not even water.  And after 3,5 weeks of straight throwing up 8-12 times a day and not being able to pee ,my husband drove with me to the ER and they gave me a bunch of fluids.. I was super dehydrated.  It's definitely something you should bring up because it can get dangerous!  Take care of you and your little one :) I hope you feel better soon

Definitely talk to your doctor about it. I had severe sickness in the beginning and it's stuck around as well...I'm 30 weeks along and still getting sick, it sucks but it'll be worth it in the end. My little one was measuring 2 weeks behind her expected size and my BP has been quite a problem.  If you have ANY concerns you should always address them whenever you see your OB!   Better safe, than sorry! Good luck

I have serve morning sickness...eat mostly 1 meal a day...never throw up but I do gag a lot! Food aversions to everything! Think I've lost close to 10 pounds in first trimester! Can't wait to be done with this so I can enjoy my pregnancy!

I had HG with all 4. With my first I was living out of the country and had military doctors. With my last 3 I talked eith my OB and we came up with a plan before pregnancy. I am very proactive about my treatment. IV therapy helped a lot. Try getting on an IV therapy schedule or medication. You will probably have to bring it up, be assertive.
