Are political discussions no longer allowed in CC?

Because they’re all being moved to a Politics group I’ve never seen before? 🤔
I know this’ll get deleted in a few minutes, just a little confused...

If it is too controversial, people complain. Apparently the only posts allowed are posts like , "ketchup or mustard"? Nothing that would spark actual debates.

CC has a rule about having multiple posts on the same topic. In this case, the admins are attempting to not have CC become purely a vortex of posts about Trump, while still allowing those conversations to happen for those who would like to have them - in the Politics group, which has existed since the 2016 election and is an excellent place to talk about current politics.
