little victories!
On 12-27-2017, I decided it was time to take control of my health and make some lifestyle changes. Since then, I’ve become more conscious of the food choices I make (breastfeeding keeps me hungry!) and I’ve been working out at home almost every day. Although I’m not necessarily counting calories, I am using the app MyFitnessPal to keep track of what I eat and to help myself make better food choices. Some days I was discouraged because I didn’t get a workout in, or I didn’t make the best food choices. However, seeing the little bit of progress i’ve made helps to keep me motivated, so I’m still proud of myself. My goal is to lose enough weight to not need my blood pressure medication, and obviously get to a healthier weight. Everyone has got to start somewhere, right?
