I’ve had irregular bleeding for a couple years now. Before then I had absolutely no period problems. Sometimes it’s just spotting, sometimes very long periods, sometimes it’s the odd day or two of heavy bleeding in between periods. I can’t tell if sex triggers this, but I think it does sometimes.

Ive had so many tests: internal ultrasound, MRI scan, examinations, swabs etc. My cervical smear was recently done and came back with no signs of cancer. I had an examination and the doc thought she could see something (like a polyp or clot) on my cervix. So they scheduled me for surgery, but my MRI scan was completely clear so they decided against the surgery. I am so frustrated! It’s really affected my sex life with my new partner and I’m sick of bleeding so much! Does anyone have any advice or insight?
