Big baby?

Did anyone else's dr tell them they would be having a large baby? Did they tell you to be concerned? My dr said she's looking to be 8-9 lbs

My daughter is 6lbs 5oz at 37 weeks. If I make it to term she’ll probably be close to 8 lbs 😱

I had a growth can at 30 weeks, he was measuring 3lbs 3oz. I have another scan next week at 34 weeks. He’s projected to be around 8 lbs. if he is my dr will do a c section, I have heart disease and she doesn’t want to put my body through trying to push out a big baby. My first son was only 6lb 10oz

mine is already 5lb 5 oz at 33weeks and measuring ahead everywhere so doc told me im looking at a big baby also

I was measured at 34 weeks and they think baby is already 7lbs 7, I’m dubious but I get measured again on Tuesday and will probably be referred to have a growth scan

They ESTIMATE weight based on femur length! Do NOT take their estimate for fact. Your baby could be long and slender. They’d tell you to expect 10lbs and your baby would be born weighing 7lbs! It happens ALL THE TIME. Don’t worry girl, you’ve got this!
