I had my implant removed on the 22nd of December 2017. In total I’ve had 3 implants which lasted 3 years each so I’ve had the implant in for 9 years. I came off my period day before I had it removed. I was supposed to come on my period yesterday but I am so far a day late. I’ve been having some period cramps, but they don’t last as long and they are not as severe as what I normally experience just before my period. I would say mild cramps but no period!! Normally I would get cramps day before my period but nope nothing!! The cramps have been on and off this week. Lately after I eat I get really gassy. I had a new symptom yesterday when I got home from work, around 4pm I led down and all of the sudden I felt sick to my stomach. A different kind of sick feeling that came out of no where which I’ve never had before. At one point it felt as though I was about to be sick but nothing came up and I felt lightheaded along with it. I did take a test a few days ago before my expected period and it came back negative. We had unprotected sex day of removal and constant unprotected sex afterwards due to trying to conceive our first baby. I have been more tired than usual lately and I would say I’ve been urinating more than usual, I notice every time I drink something I have to rush to the bathroom not long afterwards. I’m not sure if I’m pregnant or my mind and body is playing tricks on me.... Because ever since I had it removed I’ve been thinking nearly every day “I could be pregnant” or “I am pregnant”... I’m kind of nervous to take a test, I really want to take one today but then I keep changing the way I think to wait till next Friday. But this is the day of my missed period.
