I’ve been dating my boyfriend for four years on and off and we finally got to the best place we’ve ever been. So now here’s the problem he’s not working he’s not in school. He stays with his parents he’s 20 years old and when I ask what he wants to do all he can say is be an artist. Don’t get me wrong he is very good but honestly it’s 2018. I got him a meeting with a counselor so that he could enroll in a school and everything and what does he do??? HE DOESN’T GO.

He swears he really wants to invest in us and our future but I don’t see it. What should I do???

My moms suggest I leave him and they feel VERY STRONGLY about it, but I love him and I want to better us in any way I can.

Advice???
