My husband and I will end our baby making years after this babe and were planning on having him get a vasectomy. But I’m not against tying my tubes, especially at the delivery. Shoot my OB is already in there lol. Any others considering this? We just wanna have sex for fun now 😉

We are done having babies as well. I said while pregnant to my hubby he needs to get snipped and he was so against it, being a typical man. 🙄 I made him do some research on why it’s so bad for a woman to get her tubes tied...lets say he is full on board now to take the snip!

My friend just had her 3rd and final child c section and had her tubes done at the same time. She was told the aftermath recovery is horrible but she has said surprisingly it hasn’t been as bad as she thought. If you’re having a c section it makes sense to have it done at the same time but if your doing vaginal then I would recommend hubby getting the vasectomy.

If you have a c section then it makes sense to possibly have them for your tubes if they will. My husband will take the snip after we’re done. It’s an outpatient procedure. Easy recovery (easier than it is recovering after having a baby). And no hormonal changes for them. Plus I was pregnant and had to deal with that. So he said he would.

Vasectomy all the way - I honestly feel like we need to do all the physical work with babies so the least they can do is have a vasectomy when we’re done having kids. That being said, I have endometriosis and I always planned to have a hysterectomy at some point so that I’m no longer in pain all the time, so we’ll see :)
Just make sure that if you go with vasectomy he definitely goes for his follow up appointment before you begin having unprotected sex again - I know 2 people who got pregnant after their husband had a vasectomy because it didn’t take the first time!!! Can you imagine?!

The reason I would get my tubes tied is because my husband had testicular torsion when he was 17 and had to have surgery. So if it's between me or him getting cut on, im not going to make him go through something like that again. But that's just me and our situation is a little unique.

Vasectomy can always be reversed, my brother had it done and now reversed. Better for the both of you if male does it

I was originally going to get my tubes tied after this and decided it wasn’t fair for me to go through labor and everything and get rid of my baby making skills and he can get snipped.

If you’re having a c-section get them “tied”, if not then vasectomy for him.

I’d prefer my husband get a vasectomy because it’s less invasive (I’m planning another vaginal birth), but the poor baby, who is a tattoo artist, is afraid of needles. Yes. He’s afraid of needles and any remote possibility of him getting a shot—he’s out. So I’m going to take one for the team, because I am done haha. 
Another factor is our insurance covers female sterilization 100% but a vasectomy only 80%. Had it been reversed and his covered 100%, I’d make his booty get the vasectomy.
