Are you anemic ? Pls Read

Hey ladies, I’m here more to hear about your stories of how you found out you’re anemic.

Now I’m not sure if I have anemia yet. Here’s my story: On December 20, 2017 I got my hormonal IUD kyleena inserted on cycle day 3, so I was already on my period. 1 Day after I had it inserted I stopped bleeding!! I thought it was way too good to be true. Well after that one day I’ve been bleeding like crazy ever since 😫 Today I am on cycle day 26. Also I’d like to add that I’ve just been super nauseous. I haven’t had an appetite for the past week, so I’m nauseous because I’m not eating but when I eat I’m even more nauseous 🤢 also I’ve been having random bruises with no known cause.

Yesterday I went to the doctor for my 4 week IUD check up (I went a little early because I’m bleeding like crazy & didn’t think it would hurt anything). When he checked my strings he said they’re approximately 3cm. Which I’m like that’s good right ??? He glances over to the nurse supervising giving her a look.

He informs me that they seem a little long. He tells me he wants an ultrasound done to make sure they’re in place ( he isn’t the person who put them in). He also orders a CBC (complete blood count) to see if I’m anemic. I’ve never bruised before from a blood draw (picture is 34 hours after appointment)

I’m just extremely nervous that my IUD has migrated & on top of that I might be anemic ☹️ I had my blood draw Thursday at 11:00AM, it’s now Friday @9PM & my results haven’t been posted online yet. I’ve never had results take this long before !! Wish me luck please
