Should I call the police on her?

I live in public housing and we’re on the lower floor. There’s a woman on the 2d floor and she is abusing her kids. She tells them ugly things and hit them and she and her husband fight in front on them. :/ I’ve been thinking on calling the police because everyone can hear her screaming to her kids but nobody does nothing. And coming from being abused I feel like shit for not saying anything. Should I call the police?

You can, it's hard to say if there will be enough evidence to get her in trouble, but if you call at least they will go look and hopefully keep an eye on them.

I would. Having a cop come out to check the situation would probably be a good thing. Just to make sure the kids are okay.

You should definitely call DCS/CPS. They will go do visits to check on your report and it can be completely anonymous. You should call the police during an abusive event if you feel like the children are in danger or are being injured.
