Am I exaggerating?

Question

So basically I’m on the pill, and when we have sex my boyfriend wears a condom and doesn’t even come inside. But still here I am every now and then worried that I might get pregnant if anything goes wrong. 
I think I am exaggerating, but am I really??🤔
Which one do you recommend I keep doing or stop?

You’re absolutely exaggerating! I get where you’re coming from though. When I overthink like this I like to break it down logically, so I’ll lay it out for you.
#1, you’re on birth control. When taken or used correctly is basically 98-99% effective as is. EVEN if you get came inside or on the daily.
#2, on top of this, you’re using condoms. Which prevents precum or sperm from going into you if used correctly, but remember, you’re on birth control. So even if it did happen to have a tear in it, birth control is still protecting you.
#3, he pulls out. Yes, I get precum can be a factor but the chances are unlikely... he’s not even finishing inside you. What do you need to get pregnant? Sperm. No sperm? No baby. Even if there was some type of precum that somehow got through the condom if you didn’t pull out on time, you’re on BIRTH CONTROL!

same here only im not on the pill. Condoms and pull out together is all weve used for about 3 years and even though he doesnt come near me and its all in the condom, i still worry. ive found that not stressing, and having Plan B and some cheap tests on hand helps. that way you know if something happens its there if needed. Since youre on the pill thats like triple protection, but id totally be the same way! :) maybe try just having things on hand and be open about sex with your SO. maybe he will be able to help as well..
