What could be more accurate? Ultrasound or your last day of menstruation?

Hi! I would want to ask if what could be more accurate, my first ultrasound or the last day of my menstruation? On my first check-up with my Ob on December 14, my Ob's estimate is I'm 11 weeks pregnant since my period cycle is September 22-29. And when I have had my first ultrasound on December 19, the result was I am 8.5 weeks pregnant. I'm a bit confused. The difference is 3 weeks. Thank you so much!

If your periods are irregular I'd say ultrasound, ultrasound has always beeb accurate for me

That's a big difference! Also It's not the last day of your menstruation. But the first day! I wish you a healthy pregnancy!

Both of mine measured exactly the same! I would say ultrasound though! Maybe when you get your 20 week scan it’ll change! Who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️
