You have to make that decision but
if you tell him, you have to be prepared for whatever reaction he gives you (hopefully not physical) and then allow him to deal with it the best he knows how.

​Not telling him could really cause even more issues and you will find yourself eventually placing blame on him with infidelity due to your own doings. Any extra coversing with other females, staying out longer than usual, increased detail with his appearance in your eyes can quickly translate into something's not right in fear of Karma getting back at you.

​If you tell him and you guys survive, you must get to the bottom on why you cheated in the first place. This should be a pathway to open the door on communication. I'm not saying you're right for doing what you did but most times there is a deeper reason or a lack of something that causes a person to stray. Think about it or but the shoe in the other foot. If it was you, would you want to know???

If you cheated, and you don't tell him, he will find out on his own. Whether it be tomorrow, or three years from now, he will find out eventually. In that case, it's very unlikely that he will want to give you a second chance, and contuine your relationship.

​If you cheated, and you tell him, it shows that although you didn't something terrible before, you're being honest and upfront with him now. You'd have a much better chance of him trying to work things out with you, and keep the relationship going.

I think you should tell him, imagine if it was the other way around and he didn't tell you? tha would be so upsetting!
​be prepared though, he is probably going to be very hurt and upset and angry. make sure you talk it out so that hopefully he doesn't resent you for it. hopefully you won't do it again, please have the respect for you partner to remain faithful!
