Discipline and your kids (advice please!)
My son will be 2 in April. His little brother was born the 2nd of this month (☺️) and well,
His dad and I noticed that he was a little more fussier the days before his brothers birth, & now.. almost 2 weeks after his arrival.
He’s a great big brother, he helps! He is a little too rough but we try our best to help him bond with his brother.
BUT he’s been such a brat lately (lol)! I want to describe it as “rebellious”, before he knew what he was allowed and wasn’t allowed to do. Now he doesn’t listen at all! Idk if it has to do with his brother? “Terrible Twos”? Or is he just learning and testing the rules with us???
..NOW I feel I should do a little discipline. A small slap on the hand. A mad face at him. Small things to let him know I don’t agree with his actions. Time out wouldn’t do anything, this boy can make something out of nothing 😂
His dad, on the other hand says let it be, he’ll grow out of it, it’s just a stage. Which I do believe, but what if these actions become habitual to him?
I know he’s barley two but I want to do my best to raise a gentleman the best I can..
advice? Thoughts? What have you done? What worked? Anything??
