Was on the pill for 6 yrs, never gained weight & it kept my acne away (besides 1 pimple at period time). It levels your hormones and it helped keep my moods leveled out as well!! After i give birth I’m DEF going back on it. You can also skip periods if you want. Just gotta find the birth control best for you

Actually it’s not just weight gain with the pill - if you’re worried about that you can try different ones to see if they work. I got really depressed on the pill and it has so many other side effects that mess with your body. If it’s long distance I feel like condoms are the way to go and are the safest bet but there’s so many other options you can discuss with your doctor. The pill is great - sometimes but if you’re not having sex often enough it’s not really worth it to me haha

Keep fit and active daily and you won’t have to worry much about weight gain. Being more afraid of a couple extra pounds over having a baby when you’re not ready is what concerns me most.
