I'm breastfeeding but I want to drink a reds apple ale how long after having one or two should I wait to breast feed? I don't want to get drunk just a drink or two

I was told to follow guidance for alcohol coming out of your system in relation to drinking and driving. An hour a unit or something?

Answer

You can drink one and be totally fine. If you want more than one, wait 1 hour between drinks with a few glasses of water in between.
