My cat has worms

During the wintertime it's been so cold lately that I've been letting my (normally outdoor) cats in my room overnight. I did this for a few weeks and today I discovered worms in their poop. I panicked and put them outside and cleaned my room and bedding as best I could but I'm still kind of scared that I have worms too. Are the chances good that I do?
