Have you ever taken birth control to avoid having a monthly cycle just to have sex?

My husband and I were long distance, when we finally were able to get together, I would skip my period so we could have sex without the mess (we don’t worry about it now). I have skipped my period just for convenience sake though. Double check with your doctor before you do.

I used to take the 90 day pill. I would only get a period every 3-6 months. 
It was prescribed that way to manage symptoms of adenomyosis. It was nice to not have a period all the time but I think it left me with some negative long term effects.

I mean I took it to avoid pregnancy but for my honeymoon I started my pack a week early so i didn’t get af on my honeymoon.
