yeast infection medication... help

ladies i need help I've never had to do this before. I'm sooo uncomfortable after inserting the tablet. i think i did it right but now I've got a funny feeling down there... is it normal?? is it the tablet dissolving? does it even dissolve right away? its like the inside of my vagina is itching/ tickling?? but its not an itch caused by the yeast infection.
