The first day back after winter break, one of the seniors at my school ended her life. It’s really torn me up, even to the point of a horrible dream of finding her. I wasn’t close with her but in the hallways I would smile at her, and I wish I had the opportunity to get to know her when she was alive. I feel absolutely terrible for her and cannot imagine what she was going through. Her funeral is tomorrow and I would like to go to pay my respects to her but I don’t want to be disrespectful or make anyone uncomfortable because I wasn’t very close with her. Would it be appropriate for me to go?
